Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Sanchaya handles information in its member and Organizer apps and related web pages. Contact paraminnovations.rishi@gmail.com with privacy questions.
Information we handle
- Account details, including names, phone numbers, and information used to sign in and secure an account.
- Information entered into the service, such as group membership, contributions, payouts, expenses, splits, transaction records, and messages.
- Technical information needed to run the service, such as device notification tokens, delivery information, and operational logs.
Organizers and members may provide information about other participants when managing a group. They should have permission to provide that information.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate users, maintain accounts and group records, show records to the relevant participants, send requested service communications and reminders, support users, and maintain the reliability and security of Sanchaya. We do not sell personal data.
Who can see information
Group organizers and relevant members can see shared group records according to their access in the apps. Service providers that host, authenticate, or deliver Sanchaya features may process information for those purposes. Communications sent through a messaging or notification provider require that provider to process the destination and delivery details.
Retention and deletion
We keep information while it is needed to provide the service and maintain shared records. When an account deletion is processed, account and private profile information is removed or anonymized. Shared group, split, and transaction records may remain in anonymized form so other participants can keep their records.
